VH-WWB (1)
Auster
J/5BG Cirrus Autocar
(c/n 3173)

This was the
former
VH-RAD, shipped to Robby's in Adelaide in 1955. It is seen above
in this
shot by Rod Adam (via the Geoff Goodall collection)
at Parafield in 1963, after it had been sold
to Commodore Aviation at
Port Lincoln SA for use as a fish spotter for the local tuna fishing
fleet.
It was re-registered-WWB in 1962. Following a
crash
at Yallunda Flat in 1965 it lay dormant
for a couple of decades but was back on
the register by 1990 as
VH-JSG fitted with a 180 h.p.
Lycoming.. It is still current with that rego.
