VH-WWB  (1)  Auster J/5BG Cirrus Autocar                     (c/n  3173)

                                    

                                        This was the former VH-RAD, shipped to Robby's in Adelaide in 1955.  It is seen above in this
                                        shot by Rod Adam (via the Geoff Goodall collection) at Parafield in 1963, after it had been sold
                                        to Commodore Aviation at Port Lincoln SA for use as a fish spotter for the local tuna fishing fleet.
                                        It was re-registered-WWB in 1962.    Following a crash at Yallunda Flat in 1965 it lay dormant
                                        for a couple of decades but was back on the register by 1990 as VH-JSG fitted with a 180 h.p.
                                        Lycoming..  It is still current with that rego.
