Dassault  M.D.311 Flamant                             (c/n  259)

                                  The M.D.311 was the first of three versions of the Flamant built for the Armee de l'Air.  They were
                                  used from 1949 until the mid 1960s.   The 311 was the bombing, navigation and photography trainer.
                                  Now, since total production of all three models is given as:  M.D.311 = 39;    M.D.312 = 142;
                                  and  M.D.315 = 137, and since this M.D.311 is No.259, I can only assume that they were built
                                  concurrently on the production line and that the c/ns were given for the series, and not for each sub-
                                  variant.
