                                     This was the first L-23A and had been converted from a YL-23 pre-production machine.  About
                                     170 of this, the military equivalent of the Twin Bonanza were operated by the Army and Air Force.
                                     This aircraft is carrying the short-lived "A" for "Army" pref-fixed serial.  This letter was dropped
                                     after 1962, and regular year-number sequences used.
