CC-CLW  de Havilland D.H.104 Dove         (c/n  04273)

                                    

                                       The above shot is de Havilland Aircraft publicity photograph.  Doug Olson's shot taken after its
                                       duties were finished with LAN appears below.   Like most airliners of the era, the Doves had
                                       been white topped at some time in the early 1950s.   CC-CLW was sold in the US in the mid
                                       1950s as N4914V and was operated for a while by Cal-Neva Airlines out of Long Beach.  This
                                       company was owned, I believe, by one of the Lake Tahoe resort hotels to run punters up to that
                                       northern California gambling spot.
