SOCATA GY-80-180 Horizon  N9829Y                          (c/n   253)

SOCATA was formed in 1966 as a subsidiary of Sud Aviation.  Subsequent mergers then made it
a subsidiary of Aerospatiale.   The Horizon was produced under license from Yves Gardan.  This
1967 example was seen at El Monte Airport, Southern California in 1997.  Looks pretty good for
                                          a thirty year old machine.
