Puerto Rico International Airlines  de Havilland D.H.114 Heron  N13663    (c/n  14035)

                                 

                                     This Heron was originally built for Jersey Airlines as G-ANLN.  It went to British West Indian
                                     Airways in 1963 as 6Y-JCZ before being acquired in 1966 by what was to become Prinair.
                                     However, in the early stages of the name change from Ponce Air, this airline carried the full
                                     registered name titling on the fuselage, as can be seen in the above shot from the Jose Alfonso
                                     collection via William W. Sierra.   Services were expanded, domestically to Viequez, Mayaguez,
                                     Culebra and Aguadella and to Santo Domingo and the Virgin Islands internationally.  N13663
                                     was not one of the Herons which were converted by CADI and was broken up for spares.
