Pacific Air Lines Martin 4-0-4   N40422                   (c/n  14128)

                                          

                                              In 1960, Pacific purchased eight Martin 4-0-4s from TWA and two more from Eastern in 1962.
                                              N40422 was shot at LAX during a turnaround in the summer of 1961.  Note radar nose.   They
                                              were used on the short haul San Joaquin Valley route from Los Angeles to San Jose and Oakland.
                                              This aircraft wound up with IT charter outfit Fiesta Air (as N302FA) in 1971 and then went on to
                                              Kodiak Western Alaska Airlines in 1976.  It was withdrawn from use in the late 1970s.
