Cascade Airways  Beechcraft 99  N2880A                        (c/n U-109)

                                 

                                        Cascade Airways was formed at Spokane, WA in May 1970 by Mark Chestnutt to provide
                                        local commuter services from that city to Seattle, Portland and Boise via several intermediate
                                        stops.   Initial equipment comprised two Beech 99s, one of which, N2880A, is seen above at
                                        Salt Lake City International in this shot by Eduard Marmet.   This particular machine was pur-
                                        chased new from Beech, although the arline would go on to operate some 15 examples of
                                        this twin engined commuter, most of which had been "previously owned".
