ZK-ASV  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth         (c/n  DHNZ36)

                                    

                                           Ex RNZAF NZ786.  Civilianized in 1948 for T. Nevell of Otago, but sold on to Airwork NZ
                                           Ltd. who registered it initially.   It was loaned to the South Canterbury Aero Club for some time
                                           before being converted to a topdresser in 1950.  It went then to Gisborne Aerial Topdressing
                                           in 1951.  (This company changed its name to Fieldair Ltd).   ZK-ASV was cancelled from the
                                           register in 1953 following a crash at Otoko.  It lay dormant for many years and was ressurected
                                           in 1995 following a complete rebuild at Mandeville. It is currently airworthy in New Zealand with
                                           Croydon Aircraft Co at Mandeville.
