ZK-ARZ de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n 82899)

With a gaggle of other Tigers in the background it is a
bit difficult to pick ZK-ARZ out of this
composition. Ex NZ888, ZK-ARZ went to the Auckland
Aero Club in 1948. It was later
fitted
with a canopy. In 1951 it was sold to Aerial Agriculture
Ltd of Hastings and converted
to a
topdresser. It was withdrawn from use in 1956 and languished somewhere
until 1990 when
it was
resurrected by Croydon Aircraft Co Ltd of Gore. This machine is still
currently airworthy
in New
