ZK-BGF         Cessna 180            (c/n    31136)

                                 
   
                                     This Cessna has an external tank on the starboard wing.   The shot below, taken within days
                                     of the top one shows no such similar appendage on the port side.  The question is, had that
                                     yet to be fitted or did these aircraft fly in asymmetric configuration?  Answer, please, some of
                                     you ex-topdresser pilots?   Anyway, this aircraft was operated in New Zealand by Wings
                                    Fertiliser Ltd of Napier until being sold in Australia in 1958 becoming VH-DMC  (later
                                    VH-PRX,  VH-SSD and VH-CCB - depending who the current owner was!)
