G-AUAF  de Havilland D.H.60 Moth                  (c/n 243)

                               
                     
                                     This image is courtesy of the John Hopton collection (via Phil Vabre).  It was another Moth which
                                     was loaned to the Australian Aero Club (Victorian Section) to encourage the training of young pilots.
                                     This one unfortunately was written off when it crashed into a reservoir on Essendon Aerodrome on
                                     6 August 1927 and was damaged beyond repair.
