VH-SDR  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth               (c/n  83247)

                              
   
                                  This Tiger was civilianized as VH-AKN briefly (for two months) in 1950 before becoming VH-PCA.
                                  It was a UK built machine which served in the RAAF with its RAF serial of T5528   As -PCA it
                                  crashed near Bombala, NSW in 1954 and languished for almost forty years before being completely
                                  rebuilt in 1990 as VH-SDR.   Barry Maclean's shot above was taken at Point Cook, Victoria in the
                                  1990s.  This Tiger is still current and operated by Curtis Aviation (NSW) out of Camden.
