VH-RWU  Cessna 337A Super Skymaster                  (c/n  337-0367)

                                  

                                      First registered VH-RZT on 29 July 1966 as new stock for WA Cessna dealers Simpson Aviation,
                                      this Super Skymaster had its rego changed to it VH-RWU two days later when sold to the Royal
                                      Aero Club of WA.  It was visiting Adelaide when the above shot, by Geoff Goodall was taken the
                                      following April.      Unfortunately it led a short life, being wrecked in a forced landing into trees on
                                      Jandakot Airport, Perth on 3 June 1967.     The rear engine quit during touch-and-go landings and
                                      the pilot lost control.   Geoff managed to dig out a photo of the remains from his collection (below).
