VH-RTL Piper PA-28-160 Cherokee

Originally VH-RSB with the Royal Aero Club of NSW, this
Cherokee was reregistered
VH-RTL on disposal in
August 1967. David Carter’s picture shows it at
Bankstown in
1976 when it was
returning to the register after being withdrawn from use for nine
months.
It was at the time owned by a local Sydney pilot. The
old RACNSW logo and fuselage
rego cvan be
clearly seen. The aircraft was current in January 2017 in the
same ownership
as another former
RACNSW Cherokee, VH-RXA, and based at Benalla.
