                                       Formerly N7452Y, VH-RBT was registered to Smith Air in July 1964.   Mike Madden's shot
                                       above shows it in original Piper livery at Moorabbin in 1972.  Over a decade later David Carter
                                       took the photo below at Belmont, Newcastle, in August 1985 now completely repainted. This
                                       was following a repair of a partial undercarriage collapse at Coffs Harbour on March 19 that
                                       year.  Missing components were to blame, as it was on September 14, 1996 when again at
                                       Coffs Harbour.  –RBT suffered a partial undercarriage collapse.  A year later, on 9 September
                                       at Lismore it was more undercarriage problems when it failed to lock down and collapsed on
                                       landing.   Back in the air, –RBT had an accident at Lord Howe Island on September 30, 2000. 
                                      The nature of this accident is not known but the aircraft was cancelled from the register as a result.
