VH-PPV   Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee Six                               (c/n  32-40233)

                                  
                                       
                                     VH-PPV was registered in September 1967. It was involved in a midair collision with Airtourer
                                     VH-BWT in the circuit area of Parafield on July 6, 1969  . Both aircraft landed safely and without
                                     injury to those on board.     David Carter saw the aircraft (above) at Bathurst on October 4, 1970.
                                     It flew with Whyalla Air Services in the early 1970s and was in Darwin on December 25, 1974
                                     when Cyclone Tracy hit, destroying –PPV and many other aircraft at the airport.
