VH-PFL de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA1056)
Originally civilly registered in November
1947 as VH-BKF, this Tiger was re-registered -PFL
when restored
following an accident at Walcha, NSW in January 1956. It
flew around Queen-
land's
Gold Coast area for many years and has recently undergone yet another
restoration, this
time
re-appearing as VH-UXD.. The evocative
shot above was taken by Bert van Drunick at
Caloundra
in April 2003.
