Fletcher) Airlines (WA) Ltd were operating three Doves
in 1955 when they
merged with MacRobertson
Miller. VH-MMO was ex VH-AWD
and VH-AZY before that.
Its subsequent history was
colorful, going first to the Royal Flying
Doctor Sservice in 1959 as
an air ambulance, (as
VH-FDV and later VH-TDV) then to
Richards
Rent-A-Plane as VH-RUW
and finally to
Solomon Islands Airways where it was
registered VP-PAL.
It
was withdrawn
from service in
1981 and returned to Australia, but was never registered.
