David Carter snapped VH-MKJ at Bankstown  soon after it was given a coat of white paint in
                                       preparation for its Melanesian Air Charter (Macair) colours.  Formerly N72446, it was registered
                                       in Australia in July 1970 and delivered to PNG soon after     .  In 1971 Talair took over Macair
                                       and –MKJ was still in the former's fleet when its aircraft were transferred to the PNG register in
                                       June 1974     . Initially P2-MKJ, it was reregistered P2-SEL in February 1977.   The aircraft
                                       was lost in a fatal accident at Marawaka on December 22, 1978.
