VH-KPY  Beech 56TC Turbo Baron                                     (c/n   c/n  TG41)

                                  

                                         The 56TC was recognizable by its two Lycoming TIO-541-E1B4 turbocharged engines in
                                         enlarged nacelles.  This example was delivered to Kevron Photographics (Pty) Ltd from the
                                         US in November 1967 where it was previously registered N6217V, and, in fact, did not
                                         assume its VH-KPY identity until 11 March 1968 due to a delay in DCA's "first of type"
                                         certification for this model..  Geoff Goodall's shot (above) was taken at Jandakot in April,
                                         whilst John Wheatley's below was a couple of years later.
