                                      Over twenty Beavers were imported into Australia in the early 1960s primarily for agricultural use
                                      (top dressing, crop spaying etc.).  Super Spread had their share of them.  This shot by Richard
                                      Maclean, taken at Moorabbin in 1962 shows one with a rather strange chemical distribution system
                                      under the port wing.   For some reason Leafair, Super Spread's parent later repainted it in authentic
                                      orange and black DHC colors, as seen in the shot below by Greg Banfield taken at Bankstown in
                                      June 1976.     VH-IDT crashed at  Flowerdale, Victoria on 11 February 1980, whilst still registered
                                      to Super Spread..
