VH-FAH  (1)   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth           (c/n  996)

                              

                                     There were two VH-FAHs.  This is the first one, ex A17-561 and VH-AUM.   This machine is
                                     displaying the early Illawarra Flying School all silver livery.  In 1954 they opted for a red (almost
                                     vermillion) fuselage with silver wings and tail.  The tail stripes had already been initiated, however,
                                     when this shot was taken at Bankstown in 1952..  This VH-FAH became VH-TSA in 1956 and
                                     VH-LJM in the new millenium.
