VH-EAZ (2)  DHA-3 Drover 1                      (c/n  5014)

Photos of c/n 5014, at least while it was serving in Australia, are rare.  The above is from the David
Daw collection and was taken at Eagle Farm, Brisbane probably in 1952.      The aircraft had been
delivered to Qantas in July of that year.  In 1958 it was re-registered VH-EAS, (presumably so that
-EAZ could be given to a newly delivered DHC-3 Otter).        Two years later is was sold, went to
the UK as G-APXX, and was displayed at the Southend Museum with the spurious rego 'VH-FDT'.
(The 'real' VH-FDT was c/n 5011)      Anyway, c/n 5014 is now,. I believe, part of the SWWAPS
collection at Lasham, Hampshire, still painted up as the RFDS' -FDT.  .
