VH-DZA  Cessna 172A                                   (c/n  47038)

                              

                                 Registered VH-RVK for the Royal Victorian Aero Club in December 1959, this 172A became
                                 VH-RVQ in August 1960.  When sold off by the club in 1965, it became VH-DZA.    . David
                                 Carter photographed it at Caloundra in May 1975 a long way from its home at Nyah, in north-
                                 western Victoria.     By the mid 1980s it was in the West, suffering damage in a hard landing at
                                 Nullagine on 5 March 1983 that resulted in ist being cancelled from the register    . However, it
                                 was repaired and restored to the register in February 1987.  –DZA was current in August 2016,
                                 based at Esperance with a farmer who bought it in 2014.
