VH-DYA  Beech A23-24 Musketeer Super III                  (c/n  MA-153)

Some 4,410 Beech Musketeer-Sundowner-Sierras were built between 1963 and 1984.  The
                                        A23-24 model was a basic A23 Musketeer with a fuel-injected 200 hp Lycoming IO-360-A2B
up front.  The Super III variant, of which VH-DYA is one, had a higher useful load and improved
trim.   This nice example, first registered in May of 1967 was seen by Phil Vabre at Pt Cook, Vic,
early in 2008.   It had been operated, earlier in its career, by the Methodist Church of Australia in
                                        Queensland, based at Cloncurry.
