                                          Here's VH-DIN at Parafield in March 1964 on the final day of the Ansett Air Race from Brisbane.
                                          Although covered in sponsor's slogans, it was owned by the Tasmanian Aero Club of Launceston
                                          to whom it was registered as a new aircraft on 24 October 1963.     It was piloted in the race by
                                          G.W. Thorne.   VH-DIN remained with the aero club until 1973 when it was sold to the first of a
                                          series of private owners.   It is still current and is now based at Tyabb, Victoria.  Phil Vabre took
                                          the photos of it (below, upper) at Wentworth, Victoria in October 2007, and (bottom of page) at
                                         Griffith in April 2010. .
