VH-DHD (1)  de Havilland D.H.   104 Dove 2B                   (c/n 04400)

                              

                                  Flown out as G-AMXV all bare metal in October 1954 for DHA, this Dove did a demo tour as 
                                  G-AMXV before receiving its Australian CofA by DHA at Bankstown and registered VH-DHD
                                  on 29 November 1954.    Two days later it crashed in a paddock half a mile from Camden aero-
                                  drome after failing to climb after take off.             The aircraft was being flown by DHA Captain
                                  T.H. Dalton to familiarize DCA Chief Examiner of Airmen for NSW Region Reginald C. Adsett.
                                  Dalton was injured, Adsett was killed and Adsett's assistant R.H. Jarvis was injured when trap-
