VH-CRQ  Fletcher FU-24 Mk II                           (c/n  122)

                                    

                                          Like all Fletchers, this aircraft was allocated a ZK- registration when built.  This one was formerly
                                          ZK-CRQ which merely changed its nationality coding when it crossed the Tasman Sea in September
                                          1967.  It was registered at the time to Westair Aviation Services of Coonabrabran, NSW, and it is
                                          in their titling that it was seen above at Bankstown in April 1968 by Roger McDonald.   VH-CRQ
                                          had a short life, being wrecked in an agricultural accident at Ryleston NSW on 31 July 1970.
