VH-COV  Cessna 185A Skywagon                                      (c/n 185-0351)

                            

                                 Two shots of this Skywagon by Geoff Goodall, both taken at Adelaide Airport.  Above it was seen
                                 in February 1964 having just received a new Covair paint job in tan and white with the company logo
                                 featuring a map of Kangaroo Island where it was based.   The image below shows the old livery scheme
                                 in July of the previous year.    Registered new to Covair in June 1962, it was used for both charter and
                                 agricultural work.  When sold off in 1964 it was re-registered VH-CXO in 1964 and again as VH-AGI
                                 in 1966.  It was finally withdrawn from use in 1985 following an accident near Collie, WA.
