VH-COE  Yeoman YA-1 Cropmaster 250R                   (c/n  105)

                                  

                                     A very nice shot by Dave Eyre (via Geoff Goodall) of the fifth Cropmaster at Bankstown in March
                                     1964 with Coveair (of Kangaroo Island, SA) titling.     The aircraft had originally been registered
                                     VH-TSD when it was with Trojan Aerial Spraying.     It was later operated by Westair Aviation
                                     Service at Coonabarabran, NSW and also by Hazair Agricultural Service at Orange before crashing
                                     on 28 March 1986 on take-off from an ag strip near Orange due to water contamination in the fuel
                                     supply.    Jim Hazelton, who was flying the aircraft at the time, emerged uninjured.  The Cropmaster
                                     ended up as an instructional airframe at Sydney Technical College.
