VH-CDI  Cessna 182                                 (c/n  33637)

                                     

                                         Formerly registered (October 1960, ex N5637B) VH-CDV.  Re-registered -CDI on 1 February
                                         1962 at which time the former rego was allocated to a 182E which was previously VH-RIS.
                                         Bob Neate's photo (above) was taken at Cootamundra in 1963 while the aircraft was owned by
                                         a syndicate of local pilots.    Greg Banfield photographed it at Bankstown on 29 March 1964
                                         whilst it was overnighting during the 1964 Ansett Air Race (below).   It was flown in the race by
                                         D.L. Hudson.  VH-CDI is still currently registered.
