VH-CAB (3)  Beech S35 Bonanza                              (c/n  D-7376)

                              

                                    One of five Bonanzas acquired by the Department of Civil Aviation, VH-CAB was delivered in
                                    June 1964.    Over the next 28 years the department may have gone through many reorganizations
                                    but -CAB continued on as a departmental hack, based mainly at Brisbane.    David Carter photo-
                                    graphed it with its DCA badge at Bankstown  in 1970 when it was at Hawker de Havilland for
                                    servicing.     In May 2016 it was still on the register.  The owner, who lives in the Melbourne area,
                                    also owns a 1967 Beech Debonair, (VH-DYF), and a 1970 Beech 36 Bonanza (VH-EZW).
