VH-BYT  Auster J/5G Cirrus Autocar               (c/n  3091)

               
                                 

                                        Unlike VH-BYP, this Autocar had previously seen service in the UK as G-ANSW before
                                        being exported to Australia early in 1955.  Here it is outside KSAS hangar at Bankstown later
                                        that year.  It was stricken from the register following a crash at Wodonga, Victoria in 1980.
