VH-BYA  Beech A23-24 Musketeer                     (c/n  MA-315)

                                    

                                          This was the Musketeer with the 200 hp Lycoming IO-360-A2B fuel injected engine. Geoff
                                          Goodall took the photo above of this example at Jandakot Airport, Perth in October 1969
                                          when it was contestant No. 56 in the annual Weekend New Air Trial.  By that time it was a
                                          mere one year old having been first registered to Australian Beech agents Hawker de Havilland
                                          at Bankstown in October 1968.      When this shot was taken it was based on Byro Station out
                                          of Mullewa, WA.    In October 1971 it was sold in New Zealand becoming ZK-DII.
