VH-BWH (1)  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                  (c/n  DHA329/T117)

There were two Tigers registered VH-BWH*.  This is the first one, civilianized in October
1951 from RAAF disposals at Mallala, SA for the Royal Aero Club of SA.         Formerly
A17-309, it is seen in the two shots in this entry from the South Australian Aviation Museum
archives.  Both were at Parafield:-   above, circa 1950 and below, with rego repositioned to
the tail, somewhat later.   It was sold by the club in February 1956 to Rural Aviation Co at
Parafield who fitted it out for cropdusting and had it re-registered VH-BTF. It later went to
                                         Super Spread Aviation as VH-SST.

                                         *   The second, for which I have no image, came on the register in March 1957 and
became VH-TSE (1) after restoration following a crash at Port Pirie in 1959.
