VH-BMG (3)   DHC-6 Twin Otter 200                          (c/n  219)

                                      

                                         Formerly N5216, this Twin Otter was imported in March 1970 for the Bureau of Mineral Resources,
                                         Canberra.  The two photos of it here are both Roger McDonald's, and show it (above)at Essendon in
                                         February 1983, and below at Bankstown as N5216 just after its delivery in 1970.    The aircraft flew
                                         extensive survey expeditions all over Australia until it was sold to the Missionary Aviation Fellowship
                                         (Mafair) in June 1987 and sent to Papua New Guinea as P2-MFY.
