VH-BFL as VH-HDU   Avro 652A Anson 1

                                 

                                       VH-BFL was one of Eric McIllree's Anson overseas sales when he led a formation of Ansons
                                       VH-BFJ, BFK & BFL from Darwin on 12 November 1947 on delivery to the newly formed
                                       Cathay Pacific Airways of Hong Kong.    Cathay needed aircraft for charter operations in Burma
                                       and could not at first spare their DC-3s.   VH-BFL became VR-HDU and it is seen here at
