VH-BBF (2)   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth             (c/n   428)

                           

                                  A poor shot of a miscellaneous Tiger at Western Junction, Launceston, Tasmania in 1953.
                                  It was an Aero Club of Southern Tasmania aircraft up on a trip.         This aircraft was re-
                                  registered VH-ASC (the third, the other two VH-ASCs were Tiger Moths also).  In 2004
                                  it received another identity, namely that of VH-MJW and it is still active.
                                  The shot below is from Aaron Betts, and the photo had an interesting note on the back (q.v.)
                                  by his late uncle, which explains where the canopy came from.
