                                 The image above is from the Alan J. Sheppard collection and depicts the New England Airways
                                 Anson 'Spirit of Glenn Innes' loading at Casino, NSW, probably in the late 1940s.    The two
                                 snapshots below were culled from a schoolboy's photo album by Geoff Goodall, and were evidently
                                 taken at Kempsey, NSW in 1947.    Note pointed nose conversion, although retaining the helmeted
                                 cowlings for the Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah IXs.       Ex W2657, VH-AVS was sold to Aerial
                                 Surveys in Western Australia and crashed at Carnamah on 7 November 1952.
