VH-AUO  (2) Auster J/1 Autocrat                        (c/n  2331)

                                  

                                      I have lost the provenance of the above image, taken at Armadale in June 1983.  If the photo-
                                      grapher would please let me know I will suitably credit.....  This J/1 was built as G-AJIM and
                                      went to Denmark in 1948 as OY-AAK.  The photo of it in that guise (below) is from the Jennifer
                                      Gradidge collectiuon.     Restored in 1961 to G-AJIM, it went to Australia in 1978 as VH-AUO.
                                      Phil Vabre took the contemporary air-ro-air shot at the foot of the page in October 2010 from
                                      the Tiger Moth VH-AZF.   The Auster has had another complete restoration.
