VH-AQH  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth            (c/n  DHA284)

                                

                                        VH-AQH was a Royal Victorian Aero Club aircraft, and I assume it carried the light and dark
                                        blue tail stripes, although the cropping of this shot from the John Hopton collection makes this
                                        impossible to determine.   It was damaged at Moorabbin in May 1953 and cancelled from the
                                        register just before the fleet was re-registered into the VH-RV series.
