VH-AMP (2)  Piper PA-28 Cherokee 180E                                 (c/n  28-5724)

A PA-28 on floats (rare) at Gwandelan,  NSW in December 1975.  The only Cherokee to be con-
verted to floats in Australia (and not too many of these anywhere else, for that matter), it was owned
by Tom Harrison who had fish and prawn spotting contracts on the NSW coast and at Karumba in
North Queensland.  (David C. Eyre photo, via Geoff Goodall).    VH-AMP is still current (as a land-
                                    plane?).
