VH-AGV  Ryan STM                                                 (c/n  458)

                               

                                  These two shots were both taken at about the same time, albeit at different locales.  The photo above,
                                  from the Geoff Goodall collection, was at Bankstown, circa 1955, whilst my own, below, was at a
                                  misty day at Morrabbin in 1954.    VH-AGV was previously S-22 with the Netherlands East Indies
                                  Navy and A50-17 with the RAAF.   It was sold in the USA (could I say repatriated?) in 1969 and
                                  given the "period" registration of N17843.  (The "real" NC17843, by the way, was a Taylor J-2 Cub).
