VH-ALC  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth            (c/n  83260/T289)

                               

                                   VH-ALC was one of those Hatfield-built Tigers which was never issued an A17- serial.  It spent
                                   its service years in Australia as N9259, and was not civilianized until 1951.  Bob Neat's color slide
                                   (above, via the Geoff Goodall collection) was taken at Condobolin, NSW in April 1964.  In 1993
                                   the Tiger was exported to Germany as D-EAJO.  It later went to the UK as G-BXBO but had its
                                   CofA cancelled by the CAA in 1999.     Is it languishing somewhere in the UK?
