VH-ADX  Auster J/5G Cirrus Autocar  (c/n  2982)

                        

                            Neither of the shots of this Autocar are brilliant, although clearly Geoff Goodall's above, taken
                            at Bendigo in December 1965 is better than the one from my own collection (below) taken at
                            Moorabbin in 1952.    Possibly the most interesting thing in this latter photograph is the Austin
                           10 coupe!  I had one just like it, only mine was a sedan.   VH-ADX was ex G-AMKG and was
                            imported in 1952.    At last take it was undergoing restoration in Rangiora, New Zealand (in the
                            late 1990s).
