VH-ACT  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                  (c/n  82293)

                                 

                                      VH-ACT was imported just as WW II broke out to be used for the civilian training of RAAF pilots
                                      under the EFTS scheme. As such it was registered to Spencers Gulf Aero Club on 9 February, 1940.
                                      It had previously been allocated the UK rego G-AFZC but probably never carried it.  Sadly, -ACT
                                      was lost without trace over the waters of Spencers Gulf, South Australia on 6 June 1943.   The image
