VH-ABX  Piper PA-23-250 Aztec C                        (c/n 27-3650)

                                    

                                         This 1967 Aztec C was first registered in September of that year to a private owner in NSW.
                                         It was a new machine and, as such, may never have carried its US registration N6373Y.  The
                                         'C' Model had more streamlined engine nacelles.  By the mid 1970s it was on the books of
                                         Lindeman Aerial Services Pty Ltd of Mackay. Qld, which is where  Geoff Goodall took the
                                         above shot of it in May 1978.     In August 1997, while privately owned, the aircraft crashed
                                         just after take off from Borah, NSW on a flight to Bourke.   The single occupant/pilot was killed.
