VH-AAR  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                (c/n   DHA849)

                         

                              There were two VH-AARs - both Tiger Moths.    The first one is shown in the background on
                              my shot of VH-AHF .  It was doubtless converted into a coupe after its military service.  It
                              crashed at Jervis Bay, NSW in 1950.
                              The second VH-AAR is seen above in this image taken by Geoff Goodall at Kerang, Victoria in July
                              1967.  It is ex-RAAF A17-717 and is, I believe, still on the register.
