Ansett-ANA in 1960. On 30 November 1961, whilst
on a
scheduled flight from Sydney to Canberra, the aircraft broke up in the
air over Botany
Bay, nine
minutes after take off, killing all 11 passengers and 4 crew. The
accident was
attributed to a failure of the starboard wing due to excessive
turbulence
